Dr. Sorrell will discuss her beacon of knowledge and deep appreciation for history, culture, and community which led her to establish Juneteenth and Beyond. Drawing upon her extensive expertise and lifelong love for Galveston, she has curated an extraordinary experience that showcases the city's African American cultural gems.
